Travel Completed: I Have Arrived in San Antonio for the Adoptee Rights Demonstration

Adoptee Rights Coalition

Fourteen hours of traveling is completed. A grand total for three different buses, 2 planes, 3 flights, 6 cites (Kingston to NYC to Newark to St. Louis to Dallas to San Antonio) and about one hour sleep… Worked out exactly as I planned. In fact, it probably could not have gone better.

I’m going to have to film a bunch of stuff at this hotel. OMG..I’m quite impressed. Of course I adore old historic buildings and this place is oozing of old! Also, apparently my room is in the haunted older aide of the hotel. I was unaware of hauntings. However it does have the much needed wifi, so guess who gets to site in the lobby and hunt for bastards while blogging? Ok no brainer..I do! And I found two already, it’s like a tiny game of adoptee searches.

Anyway, I feel very ritzy here, but it is hot here as expected! However the lovely main tourist place right outside the hotel has crushed ices sold on every corner. You know the kind where you get to pick you own weird “juice” flavor..like blue raspberry and then fight the brain freeze! Also right next to the hotel..just a little thing called the Alamo! Yup, like been here for three minutes and practically tripped right over it,

And I am very very glad that I brought my swimsuit! I think I have all Tuesday open..and I might just have to do something really crazy and relax …
…because this pool will let me pretend I am a old hollywood starlet..oh wait, that’s not the pool…just the courtyard place! Ha

Sorry, I can’t figure out how to get the image in the right spot on this iPad!

So, I just moved boxes of t-shirts with Miss Lindlouwho and then we had a drinkypoo in the Menger Bar which is pretty lovely and very Teddy Roosevelt. Peeps are starting to arrive. after not having any time in months to blog for myself, I am loving the fact that I can basically live blog the demonstration. It’s kind of ironic that my job is doing what I love , but it make me so crazed that I don’t get to blog and be social for me anymore because I am always someone else. So getting to be me is a real treat!

Quick update: now Sunday pre sign making party:
We have walked the protest route and gotten the badges for the convention center. The booth is all set up and things are about to really start happening. About one hour before the party…final freshen and rest up!
