I guess the theme of this week might be about about holiday gifts! Maybe I am getting in the mood for Christmas? I have already written about what one asks Santa to put in  perfect Birthmother Gift Basket filled with reality based Adoption gifts after one regifts a baby as the  “gift of Adoption”. Now to completely throw you off base, allow me to recommend, and this time most sincerely, that you purchase wither for yourself or for another person on your holiday gift list, a copy of “Playing with Fire” a novel of romance and suspense.

OK. I understand that if you haven’t see Cassi Bella Ward’s latest post over at Adoption Truth, you might think me crazy, but I will explain!

See, our very own Cassi is a Romance Author. As in she writes steamy romance novels and she doesn’t just write them, she is a published author with rave book reviews of her romantic novels. I do strongly believe that like any community, us folks in AdoptionLand, should make a point of “shopping small” and supporting our community members in their endeavors, so buying a book of Cassi’s shows that. We can support our own stories, our own voices, and then what we do in the rest of the “non adoption” world which will then, in turn, allow our community to excel in and out of AdoptionLand.

‘Tis true. See, Cassi hired me, or my other got to pay the bills real world me, at Adopting Social to build her new author website. And so, I did. Isn’t it pretty?

And I am also helping her promote and sell her books. So when you help Cassi be a more successful author, then you put money in her pocket, which in turn, puts money in my bank account, which then allows me to spend more time sitting in fort of the computer all day doing what I do!

Yes, reading what I have always lovingly called “smut” helps spread Adoption Truths! How cool is that?
