I have 6 copies of Adoptee Mary Gauthier’s The Foundling to give away for free, but you have to Tweet for them!
Let me explain…
When I first heard of Mary Gauthier and her upcoming CD release titled The Foundling, I was really excited.. so I wrote her an email and she replied!
Then when I got to see her perform at the Rosendale Cafe and I met her, it was even cooler!
Then she emailed me again and said that she wanted to send me CD’s of The Foundling for me to give to folks who would appreciate the music.. which is uber cool of her! ( she’s a very cool lady!)
So I asked her.. Mary, how to you feel about doing something to promo the Adoptee Rights Protest? And she was all about it!
So her manager got the CD’s in the mail to me and I have a half dozen copies just sitting here on my desk!

So here’s how it works.. in the weeks leading up to the protest in July, we shall send out some tweets. They might be coming from my account on Twitter (http://twitter.com/fauxclaud) or from the Adoptee Rights Coalition (http://twitter.com/AdopteeRightsCo), so you will have to be following and watching both!
Then, when you see a Tweet.. you have to re-tweet it!
That’s it!
The tweet will mention Mary and the Protest and have a link to a special page on the Adoptee Rights Demonstration website and the hash tag #ARD.
On the first Twitter Contest, we’ll pick the 50th person who re-tweeted the message and they will win a Mary Gautier The Foundling CD! Then on the next Twitter Contest, we’ll choose number 75, etc and so on!

I listened to the audio file of the CD. Personal thoughts of Mary on the reasons for writing the songs were a very nicely done.. Great CD.
