Ladies Lunch: Before My First Adoption Conference

Not folled, not helpless, not needing protection

We were denied the goat cheese and roasted veggie quesadillas at the Armadillo.

Eileen and I were attempting a lunch again. By time we get our schedules together, we manage this like once a year.
Last year, we sat around watching some terrible reality TV show until it was too late and we missed lunch. So this time, we left at 12 and headed out. Eileen had to drive as my eyes are all still being crazy and sun sensitive. I sat in the car with my scarf pulled over my face.

Anyway..we were thwarted once again. Damn restaurant was closed. Thursday afternoon..lunch!! So we got sushi instead.

It was delish..
Then we went to a big, like HUGE, antique/junk store…rows and rows of old stuff piled up to the rafters. I found a new lady. I love her. A perfectly old beatup chalkwear Virgin Mary. She even has glitter on her. She is all chipped up. The first crack whore birthmother. LOL..that cracks me up.

My First Adoption Conference!

So now it’s Monday. Happy Martin Luther King Day to you. And I made plans to go to this Adoption Conference in NY this Saturday. My online friend Jan is coming out from California and it’s so rare that I really ever get to met anyone. Actually, it has never happened yet. We are going to the conference and then to a French Chocolate place for lunch. Adoption and Chocolate all in one day. Life could not get anymore perfect.

The children will go to Grandma’s for the afternoon. I will have to leave butt early from home, but Rye can deal with them all morning. I hope my eyes are better by then.
Garin might go snowboarding, but we’ll see..he has not been the best plan master lately.

OMG I Didn’t Know How to Make a HyperLink!

Oh a side note, since suddenly I realized that indeed I am tired, and I need to sleep as the headache that has been toying with me all day..well, it’s still here…Can anyone tell me how it is that one makes a link out of a word in the text? Like what if I was talking about AAI, and I wanted AAI to be the linky link? That’s called what exactly? I would like to know how to do that.
