A Very Weird Underwater Earthworm

Ok, so we have this fishtank that my mother in law got for my youngest when he turned two.
We couldn’t keep a fish alive in there for anything. We must have spent a huge sum of money on buying fish, and then gave up. And it sat empty.
So at one point this summer, we went fishing with the kids and bought minnows. We didn’t end up using them all that day, so Rye threw them in the tank figuring that they woud die too.
Guess what..they are still going. They are no longer bait, but just called the “Mimbows” as that is how Scarlett says it.
So today, I am adding water to the tank and I see something...?It looks kind of gross, and I assume it is a part of a dead fish and I go to get it out.
No, it’s a huge Earthworm. And, the Earthworm, despite being completely submerged is ALIVE.
Backtracking, I believe that it was put in there sometime in November when we were raking leaves..and since we have had snow on the ground since mid December..I am going to go on my memory. Scarlett is saying the same.
I am surprised that the fish did not eat it, but I am very surprised that the thing is ALIVE. Actually it bugs me out.
Garin said that maybe it is the magic fishtank and nothing can die in there? So the fountain of eternal life is in my TV room and has Mimbows in it.
I moved the worm to a house plant in the bathroom where he can have some dirt. I figure he deserves it..and the ground is frozen now so it’s freeze outside, back in the tank or in the houseplant.
I bet he’ll die now.

  1. You know what happened to me? I had these two fish. Circle and Sand. I was a very creative child…

In any case, Circle and Sand never got their tank cleaned. It was quite dirty I probably cleaned once a year or something. But they lived like almost 2 years! I fed them about once or twice a week. I told my friend not to feed them very much while I was gone to the beach for a week.

But nooo, she HAD to feed them every day, like a normal person would do for normal fish, but these were not normal fish!! They were MY fish!!!

    Yeah. They died.

  2. Clauuuuuud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hehe, haven’t done that for a bit, just thought it would be fun… I already miss you!!
