RegDay Review!

Ah, I know, I know.. a day late and a dollar short, but for whatever reason sitting at the Mall for a very quick 8 hours I also found to be very very exhausting! Plus, when I did get home, we had friends over..so about three glasses of red wine later, up too late entertaining, and general life choas on Sunday… just be thankful you get this now. I feel there is so much to do right now.. as my former wiatress in me says.. “I am in the weeds”

Anyhoo..the beauty of being late is that get to save some one handed typing fustration and say: Go read Ungrateful Little Bastard, because, same report!!

And yes, I have to get those pictures.. though I don’t think these is one of me.. which sucks coz that was probably the best I have looked in a month.. I am such a house frau now.

It was great! We really had some wonderful laughs..always so good to finially meet people..of course I always say that.. but because it is sooo true! I think my favorite fantasy visual is of us handing out purple condoms that say “Motherhood is Forever” on them! Rye failed to laugh when I told him that.. guess you had to be there for it to be funny!

I still have to get my hands on the very local BlueStone Press that did an article on it. AND I am currently waiting a call back from the Kingston Times reporter who called me this AM, apologizing for not seeing it all earlier, but wanting to do something on it now! 🙂

Now, this does temper some of my aggrivation from the local papers here whom I did feel were ignoring me.. The Kingston Freeman doing an article on the local teen Battle of the Bands rather than RegDay! Of course, the silly Freeman is running the AP article on the new Donaldson Report today…grumble still didn’t think of talking to me!.but I can call them now, AND they are doing a survey today based on it.. so
if you go to the link..scroll down to the bottom and answer: Should adults who were adopted as children have access to their birth records?. I am happy to say that right now over 90% say yes! Maybe if I call them then they could do a follow up, perhaps?

Here’s them there Bastards that I hung out with all day! We had the cool ass Dick’s sporting goods window display behind us. So while the location was ver excellent.. next year there will be HUGE signage behind us. And I definatly felt that, being in the mall. I really, really want to have packets for all those young kids walking past us.. BEWARE! BEWARE! I say! All the nice fertile teens and young women.. the very ones the industry hopes to relieve of their babies, all those boys unkowledgeable about thier roles as punative fathers! Yes, yes..big ideas for next year!

  1. Outstanding. I am so sad I missed you guys. Really had the best intentions to drive over to Holla!

  2. Awesome signage! They really captured attention. I love my ungrateful face, it came out better than I expected. This was a wonderful day – thank you so much for all of your hard work making it happen.

  3. Oh, Theresa! I bet she’s a marshmallow underneath all that scowling, eh?

I LURVE “motherhood is forever” on purple condoms. What a hoot!!

Actually it sounds like a blast! Too bad I live so far away, or I’d come along next year. I could bring Nate, except I’m not sure Daddy would appreciate having me teach Nate how to say, “Are you a bastard?”

    MUAHAHAHAHA!! I so amuse myself!

  4. Claud you did SUCH a great job with the sinage, the table, it was fabulous. I loved it, and I think it was a great success. Looking forward to next year! Up with Purple Condoms!!! Yeah!
