So this morning, as I was reading comments, it hit me “Oh yeah..I have to send that letter today!”
So I printed that puppy up, resisited one last doubtful look, signed my name, addressed the envelope, found the stamps and stuck it in the box. Gone it is.

Then, feeling acomplished, I cleaned out the junk drawer. That alone was a big deal, but since I had to hunt though tons of junk just to find the stamps. It was way beyond time. It i actually neat now. Rye will be shocked and awed.

Then, I actually did it. I recoverd the FOUR loads of clean laundry in the basement…added them to the two in my room festering at the foot of the bed..and folded them all. It was a HUGE mountain. Huge, I tell you. Folded.. AND put away. Yes, shocking. Plus I have another clean load just fiished, one more in the dryer doing it’s thing, and yet another of just blacks to still wash. So 6 down, 3 more to go. But I can see my carpet.

I also put away the 50 thousnad winter coats.
And then I did my hair.
And then I had an “businessy” chat.

And I also did the dishes.

I have one more phone meeting today and still a mess load of drafting to do when the kids get to bed.

Oh..and I am getting “new” couches. At least new for me. Handy dandy Freecycle had a sofa sleepeer and loveseat up for grabs and I grabbed! I got the call this morning saying that they are mine. So I call Rye at work all excited..and he actually asked if I had seen a picture. And I am like who cares really? The last two “couches” we had were so beyond butt ugly nasty things that proceeded to get even more trashed by the freaks that live here, that I have NO concern whatssoever about these. OK so Green and blue plaid do not sound oh so swell, but I will cover them if needed. I can sew. I have a staple gun. They match..we can seat five now…and they were free. As opposed to us spending a few thousand on a couch that would make me turn into the freakish Hitler couch momma.
The thing we have now..is dirt brown..and the bottom sleeper section fell out..so it is piles of cushions on the FLOOR..in a couch shaped box. And the “loveseat” is something that Rye dragged in during his bachelor pad days and it was…really, get this..hot pink velvet. I kid you not. So that has been covered now for a while, but it was dead to begin with..and now the loveseat cushion hhas been deemed for use for the non existant couch bottom, so the pink velvet is sowing again….yeah, plue and green matching plaid things will be a welcome surprise. I don’t care of they are ugly. I just won’t care.
I really want to cover the couch in leopard print again. I had one like four couches ago…it was lovely. I miss it.
