Ummm..stuff and nothing

So it’s Friday..a lovely Spring day..and I have to go to work in two hours. No, make that I have to be at work in two hours. I was SUPPOSE to go in at 5:30, which would have been real nice, but being that it is a beautiful day…I was asked to come in early to cover the patio. Yeah, the first day of patio service. The patio is HELL….

Nice floor…

I followed the Fed Ex truck down the street yesterday, feeling all excited as I knew my red tiles were in it!!! And so, to beat my own procrastination, I did it. It was a bear, but it is done. Today I finished scraping the glue off and gave it the polish coat… The kitchen table and chairs are back. As is the dog food, much to Lilly’s delight. Would…

It’s done.

Finished. caput! Letter to his parents is off the “to do” list. No desire to revise, no want to edit. And is only slightly over 4 pages long…lol. I haven’t heard back from Max on the concept of it, which is normal of him…and I will wait for him to respond first, but I did it. It’s just not in the mail yet. If anyone wants to survey the damage,…

THIS is amazing….

Oh, it’s very long..and a slow read to take it all in. I am not nearly finished, but it is most thoughough… You want facts??? Read here.

Tough night….

So I got over my good dose of procrastination, and sat down to begin to write The letter. I was doing pretty good, three pages in, and then my dear husband broke the attic devide and came over to my side of the office and looked at my draft.. “What are you writing?” “A leter to Max’s parents” “Why” “because they are upset and I want to try to make…

Fact or Fiction?

Civil war rages as a fundamentalist Christian regime revokes all women’s rights and presses the few who remain fertile into sexual slavery as breeders, called handmaids, for infertile couples.

More on Max…again

So I had sent him a message regarding Scarlett and Tristan’s reaction to his existence…and his butt. And got a reply: Well, I usually don’t say crap like this, but that is absolutely adorable. Now I definitely gotta show up. Maybe during April vacation. Nuthin going on for the most part, just gotta make sure the folks aren’t gonna freak. They’re crazy. Absolutely insane. And of course now..I worry. Does…

It will be worth it..in the end

So sorry, that I have not been able to be brilliant of insightful, reactionary, or funny this week..alas, I have been in home improvement hell. After two weeks of never ending futzing on the Jeep from hell, Rye is satisfied and we started our waiting project..the kitchen floor. Now my “old” kitchen floor was painted wood. Havinghardwood floors in the kitchen are a plus to some, but I am a…

Check this out.

So in the midst of my random wanderings last night, I found this. It’s very scientific and a bit of a hard read, but most interesting on bonding and the mother child connection. And this is 25 year old information. Good quotes: It appears that shortly after birth the baby, as well as the mother, are in a state of readiness that allows them to interact with each other…One can…

Well, that was interesting…

Yeah…I just did it. Like just…as in I am still out of breath from running back up the stairs. I just informed Scarlett and Tristan about Max. No premable, no planning, and no book. Inspired by Suz’s, I suddenly just had the urge. And I resisted for about 10 minutes. And we are hanging out, sitting on the kitchen floor, in front of the dishwasher, drawing on the MagnaDoodle. And…

Slow…

Slow day, it seems. Where is everyone? What, you have a real life?? The nerve of you all. Fine, since you are not here, I will entertain myself with the writing about the two new hot crazes that have taken over my house. Tristan, as well as having a cheese “issue” read obsession, has a similar attraction to Sponge Bob. This has made the yellow one been an importnat part…

Who is United States Senator Mary L. Landrieu?

About the senator mentioned: Senator Landrieu has become a nationally recognized advocate for domestic and international adoption. As the Senate Democratic Co-Chair of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption, she believes Congress has the power to assist state and local efforts to improve foster care and promote adoption. She was a co-sponsor of the Safe and Stable Families Act, which removes barriers to children finding permanent homes and puts in place…

NY Times Article this AM

Kudos to my real life friend KT who sent this to me. What a blessing it is to have friends that support one’s obsessions. Ah…so even the NY Times sees a problem with the way things are done! Nice long article…quote Eric Smith!! Interesting abut the national Proud Daddy bill. I didn’t know that one. Some one else to add to my send letters to list. “Senator Mary L. Landrieu,…

huh.

I was so happy last week when I broke 5000 views. Less than 5 days later, I have hit 6000. wow. I thought it would go today, but it hit before I even woke up. There are ten people reading right now. Well, nine besides me. Buggy. And who are you from Statin Island??? I need to know?? Delurk, delurk!! Oh, and Happy St. Patricks Day to all! It’s also…

Nothing much

Maybe I am just tired. Did I poop my self out? I feel brain dead right now. Rye and I just got in a really stupid fight about..tada..leaving lights on in the house. He came home from work..( read grumpy..hates his job) and garin and I were cuddling on the couch with the dog watching ER. So he went about the house switching off the lights in a grump, mutter…
